When You're Doing It All—and Still Wondering If It's Enough

Black-and-white photo of a powerful waterfall plunging over a steep cliff into mist below, symbolizing emotional release, intensity, and the natural force of healing.

You became a therapist because you wanted to help people—not because you wanted to spend your evenings catching up on paperwork, managing chaotic schedules, and feeling like you’re always one crisis away from burnout.

Maybe your caseload is too full, the systems you work in aren’t built to support you, and you’re spending more time chasing down clients than actually counseling them.

Maybe you’re working with high-risk clients without the resources you need, unsure when to break confidentiality, or stuck navigating other ethical dilemmas that don’t have clear answers.

Maybe you feel an urgency to fix problems with complex solutions—like supporting kids whose parents won’t engage, or clients whose basic needs can’t be met through therapy alone.

You might feel like you’re working outside your scope, unsure what to do when you can’t find an appropriate referral, or doubting your skills when interventions don’t land.

You’re navigating real human lives—and sometimes, no amount of training feels like enough.

And let’s not ignore another truth:

You put in the hours, the education, and the heart—but your pay, your schedule, and your boundaries don’t always reflect that.

Maybe you’re even wondering if you should leave your current job—dreaming of something that feels more aligned, but stuck in fear: fear of instability, fear of disappointing clients, or fear that the unknown might be worse.

  • If you’re questioning whether this career can work for you…

  •  If your family doesn’t get why you’re working so hard for so little…

  • If the dream of helping people has been swallowed up by burnout, confusion, or fear of “messing it up”...

    You’re not alone.

Supervision is where we hold that complexity, make space for nuance, and remind you that you are not the problem. The system is imperfect—and you deserve support that reflects the full picture.

You deserve a space that feels honest, collaborative, and safe to show up as yourself—uncertainties, burnout, big emotions and all.

I believe…

Randi Williams, therapist and clinical supervisor in Georgia, smiling warmly against a white background while holding a colorful fidget. A friendly, approachable portrait reflecting compassion, creativity, and neurodivergent-affirming care.

I’m Randi.

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Certified Professional Counselor Supervisor (CPCS) in Georgia, with two decades of experience in therapy, supervision, and leadership.

My work started in supporting youth in foster care and women navigating reentry from incarceration—which shaped my understanding of trauma, systemic barriers, and resilience. Since then, I’ve gained experience in schools, homes, inpatient settings, private practice, and community mental health. I bring that real-world perspective into every supervision conversation.

If you’re fresh out of grad school, returning after a break, or making a career shift, you’re absolutely welcome here. I know those first steps into (or back into) clinical work can feel overwhelming. My goal is to meet you with warmth, clarity, and a healthy dose of “you’ve got this.”

What Supervisees Are Saying

Real voices. Real growth. Real support

Randi Williams, therapist and clinical supervisor, smiling in a dark t-shirt that says “you can do hard things.” A confident and approachable portrait reflecting encouragement and resilience in therapy and supervision.

My approach

My integrative supervision model is grounded in the Discrimination Model and the Multicultural & Social Justice Counseling Competencies. That means we’ll work from multiple angles—sometimes I’ll teach, sometimes I’ll consult, and sometimes I’ll help you explore how the work is impacting you as a human.

We’ll develop your:

  • Intervention Skills – What you do in the room

  • Conceptualization Skills – How you understand your clients

  • Personalization Skills – How your identity, values, and experiences shape your work

  • Professional Behaviors – Boundaries, ethics, and sustainable practice

And we won’t avoid the tough stuff.

Whether it’s suicidal ideation, crisis response, or working with severe and persistent mental illness, I’ve been there—and I’ll help you build confidence in navigating those moments. We’ll talk safety planning, documentation, clinical instincts, and how to stay grounded when things get heavy.

All of this happens through a lens of cultural awareness and social justice. We’ll explore client worldviews, your own self-awareness, the therapeutic relationship, and how to be both a clinician and an advocate.

This isn’t cookie-cutter supervision. It’s collaborative, values-driven, and built to evolve with you.

Real-word therapy isn’t alwasy Neat. Supervision shouldn’t pretend it is.

Things we’ll work on

Burnout & Balance

Let’s talk sustainability. We’ll examine what healthy boundaries look like for your clients and you—and how to build a career that doesn’t drain the life out of you.

Competency

We’ll strengthen your foundation—diagnosis, documentation, interventions, and treatment planning—without losing compassion for the human in front of you.

Case consultation

We’ll go deeper than symptoms to understand the deeper story—attachment, systems, identity, values, and trauma—so you can see the whole picture, not just the diagnosis.

ND Affirming

Learn how to support neurodivergent clients with nuance and respect. We’ll discuss executive functioning, masking, and creative accommodations to support your clients, their loved ones, and maybe even you.

Ethics & Boundaries

Real-world ethics aren’t always clear-cut. We’ll explore ethical decision-making, power dynamics, cultural humility, and how to navigate gray areas with confidence.

Therapist Identity

This work is personal. We’ll unpack how your identity, values, experiences, and emotions show up in the room—and how to stay grounded as you grow.

supervision and consultation questions

  • I offer supervision to pre-licensed and associate-licensed therapists in Georgia working toward LPC licensure. I also provide consultation to fully licensed clinicians—whether you're newly licensed, returning after a break, shifting specialties, or just looking for ongoing support.

Many of the folks I work with are expanding their skills to better support neurodivergent clients, especially those navigating ADHD, AuDHD, or executive functioning challenges. Whether you're diving into the nuances of assessment, family support, or neurodivergent-affirming care, I offer a space where we can explore it all—together.

  • It might feel easiest to choose someone you already know or who’s connected to your job—but supervision is more than just logging hours. This is where you grow your voice as a clinician, deepen your confidence, and learn how to navigate the messy, human parts of this work. You deserve more than a “check the box” experience—you deserve support that aligns with your values and challenges you to grow. Even post-licensure, you don’t have to wing it alone. I can also step in as a secondary supervisor if you need a fresh perspective.

  • Supportive, collaborative, and grounded in real-world experience. I blend structure with flexibility—offering honest feedback, encouragement, and curiosity-driven exploration. You’ll leave our time feeling both seen and stretched.

We’ll dig into your cases—examining presenting issues, history, identity, and what’s helped (or hasn’t). We’ll consider ethics, clinical instincts, and system dynamics as we map a path forward. And we’ll always zoom out to help you apply what you’re learning across clients—not just the one in front of you.

I also love sharing resources—whether it’s a new modality, client handout, or time-saving strategy for your workflow.

  • Everything from case conceptualization and ethics to imposter syndrome, burnout, and the emotional weight of the work. We can dive into trauma, anxiety, attachment, neurodivergence (ADHD, AuDHD), crisis care, boundary-setting, or systems-level challenges-including family work.

Whether it’s clinical skills or career crossroads, this is a space where all of it is welcome.

  • Both! Individual supervision is available year-round, and I offer groups when spots are open. Group is a great way to learn with others, normalize the struggle, and feel less alone in the work.

  • If you’re feeling stuck, isolated, or like you want to keep growing even after getting your license—you’re ready. You don’t need to be in crisis to benefit from reflective space. Many therapists work with me post-licensure to process complex cases, explore identity shifts, or get grounded again.

  • Yes! I’m a Certified Professional Counselor Supervisor (CPCS) in Georgia and can provide all required supervision hours for those pursuing their LPC. I can also supervise some hours for LMFTs and LCSWs—just reach out and we can confirm what applies to your path.

  • Absolutely. The licensure process in Georgia can feel overwhelming—there’s a lot of paperwork, fine print, and moving pieces. I help supervisees stay organized, review required forms, and understand board expectations. While I can’t guarantee licensure, I’ve helped over 25 clinicians successfully get their LPC, including many who felt stuck or discouraged along the way. You don’t have to navigate it alone.

  • Yes and yes. Georgia allows all LPC supervision hours to be completed virtually. That flexibility allows you to get the support you need without commuting, which saves time, reduces burnout, and keeps you connected to a supervisor who actually fits—not just someone nearby.

Virtual supervision also models the same tools and platforms your clients may use, helping you build confidence with tech-based therapy. And no—none of the depth, connection, or real-talk gets lost on screen.

  • Prices are for 1 hour duration, but session length can vary based on need.

    • Individual Supervision $80

    • Dyad Supervision $60

    • Consultation $75

    • Paperwork review $60 (often scheduled for 30 minutes)

    • Group prices vary depending on the group purpose.
